Hi, I'm Casey.

Welcome to my book blog! I am an bookseller at an awesome indie bookstore in San Francisco, and a long time reader of YA and frequenter of the bookish corners of the internet. Aside from some dabbling on instagram and goodreads, this is my first committed online bookish venture.

When not selling books, my hobbies include: reading for pleasure, reading for school, reading about books on the internet, organizing my bookshelves, #bookstagramming, and going to book signings. I'm a very well rounded person.

★★★★ - I really liked it

★★ - It was okay
★ - I did not like it

I read and review YA of all genres, and sometimes other books with crossover YA appeal. I find that I particularly gravitate toward emotionally hard-hitting contemporary, like We Are Okay, and magical realism that externalizes the inner processes of the mind, like Everybody Sees the Ants. I am always on the look out that represents mental illness in a healthy and relatable way. I also love fantasies with particularly stand-out characters like Seraphina.
